Wendra is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement for applications. What follows adds to it rather than replacing it.
Wendra is free to download and free to use for capturing, writing, organising, searching, importing and syncing your notes. Sync is never sold. Some additional features are sold as a subscription, and there is a one time purchase that grants the same features permanently.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, which you do in your Apple Account settings rather than in the app. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Apple handles every payment and every refund.
You own what you write. We claim no licence over it, we do not read it, and we could not read it if we wanted to. Everything can be exported as plain Markdown at any time, and that export is deliberately not dependent on us continuing to exist.
Wendra is provided as it is. We test it and we will fix what we can, but we cannot promise it will never fail. Sync depends on iCloud, which is Apple's service and not ours, so it is subject to Apple's availability rather than to any commitment we can make.
Keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose. Export is built in precisely so that this is easy.
Wendra exposes automation surfaces, including a command line tool and an agent interface, that act on your own library on your own machine. Using them to attack Apple's services, to work around purchase checks, or to distribute the app's paid features to people who have not bought them, ends your licence.
